A timed click test, with a clear finish.
CPS means clicks per second: the number of presses you make divided by the selected round length. This is a clicking exercise, not a diagnosis of your mouse switches. For unexpected extra clicks, use the Double Click Test and click slowly instead.
How to use the cps test
Select a duration and choose the left or right mouse button. Five seconds is a simple starting point.
Press inside the pad. That first press starts the timer and counts as click one. Keep clicking until the round ends.
Read your average CPS and total clicks. Try Again keeps the same settings. Compare rounds using the same duration, button and input device.
Understanding your result
The final result uses the full selected duration, even if you stop clicking early. Each button press counts once; releasing does not add another click. Personal bests are kept separately for each duration, button and mouse/touch input. Interrupted rounds never update your best.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I test right-click speed?
Yes. Select Right before starting, then use your right mouse button inside the pad. The context menu is suppressed only inside the test area. Touch input works in Left mode.
What is a good CPS score?
There is no universal pass mark here. Duration, clicking technique and input device affect the result. Use your own repeatable rounds with the same settings as a reference.
Why was my round interrupted?
Switching tabs, losing window focus, resizing the window or pressing Escape cancels the round. Partial rounds are not saved as completed results.
